ANN CARR is a character actress hailing from the great corn-fed state of Iowa.  After performing in various avant-garde Shakespeare adaptations and several off (x3) Broadway plays, Ann discovered that her true talent lied in the elasticity of her face and the ability to embody various eccentric yet distinct personas of her own creation (many of which built a following among the lower east side's alternative comedy scene).  This inevitably led to the origination of her one-woman show 'Winner's Circle', excerpts from which have garnered praise from the likes of Jerry Stiller and Michael Showalter.
