grew up in Springfield, VA just outside of Washington, DC. Growing up, Mark showed a talent for doing impressions and playing the air guitar. Mark showed zero interest in school apart from mimicking his teachers. In high school Mark moved from air guitar to the real thing, playing and singing in several cover bands with cool names like “The Mark Douglas Experience,” and “The Sneaky Bastardz.”

It wasn’t until after high school that Mark became serious about acting and moved to New York where he attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After doing dramatic roles in several less than stellar theatre productions, he decided to focus on comedy. He studied improv with Ralph Buckley for two years and performed sketch comedy with “The Third Base Comedy Project,” where he first met Rob Gorden. He also co-wrote and starred in the comedy feature, “Lowd Smok.”

Mark is thrilled with the success of The Rob and Mark Show because it allows him to explore all of his interests, which include songwriting, acting, stand-up comedy, and trying to impress chicks.
